Yorkshire Building Society
In partnership with the Yorkshire Building Society, we now hold weekly outreach advice sessions at the building society’s branch in Paignton by appointment. Appointments can be made via the branch at 61 Hyde Road, Paignton TQ4 5BP.
Housing Advocacy
To assist Tenants navigate housing issues including disrepair to prevent homelessless. You can access the service by calling our freephone Adviceline 0808 278 7859 or come to our drop-in service at our office between 9.30 and 12 Monday and Thursdays.
Macmillan Welfare Benefits Project
Torbay Citizens Advice have a specialist Welfare Benefits Team funded by Macmillan Cancer Support. The service covers the whole of Devon in partnership with Citizens Advice Exeter, Citizens Advice Plymouth and Citizens Advice Torbay.
Our expert team of advisors can support clients with life limiting illnesses and can assist with benefit and grant applications, form filling and referrals to other trusted partner agencies.

Do you have a defined contribution pension? If you’re aged over 50, our Pension Wise service can help you understand your options.
Free appointments are available in various locations in Devon.

Help to Claim
Our Help to Claim service can support you in the early stages of your Universal Credit claim, from the application, through to your first payment.
Help to Claim is a dedicated service from Citizens Advice. It’s free, independent and confidential.
Our trained advisers can check that Universal Credit is the right benefit for you to claim, help with things like how to gather evidence for your application and how to prepare for your work coach appointment.
