Household Support Fund

The Household Support Fund is now closed to new applications in order to enable Torbay Council to pay the remaining applications before the government deadline.

Because of an underspend in some areas of the scheme, the council can distribute the remaining funds to households who have had the “welfare benefits” award of £100. Each household will receive an additional £47. This will be paid into bank accounts soon, and no later than 15 October 2024. Please do not contact the council about this payment before then.

Torbay Council  will update their Household Support Fund page on the Torbay Council website in October. This will include  details of a new scheme, which will operate through the coming Winter.
